Mahalakshmi Puja and Diwali will be celebrated tomorrow. According to Bhagavata and Vishnu Dharmottar Purana, Lakshmiji appeared from Samudra Manthan on the date of Amas of this month. There, it is mentioned in Valmiki Ramayana that Lord Vishnu and Lakshmiji were married on this day. So on this day there is a tradition of Lakshmi Puja. According to Skanda and Padma Purana, lamp lighting should be done on this day, it destroys sin.
Goddess Lakshmi is pleased to worship the lamp on the day of Diwali. It is a tradition to worship Kalash, Lord Ganesha, Vishnu, Indra, Kubera and Goddess Saraswati before worshiping Lakshmi on this day. According to the astrologers, this time on the day of Diwali, the arrival of four planets in Libra is becoming a four-planet yoga. Worship performed on this day will be auspicious.

Kalash Puja-
Fill the kalash with water and place the coin, areca, durva, rice, tulsi leaves in it and then place the mango leaves on the kalash. Wrap the cloth over the coconut and place it on the kalash. Take flower-rice in hand and recite the invocation mantra of God Varun and place it on the kalash-
ॐ अपवित्रः पवित्रो वा सर्वावस्थांगतोऽपि वा।
यःस्मरेत् पुण्डरीकाक्षं सबाह्याभ्यंतर: शुचिः।।
Then invoke and bow in remembrance of all the gods and goddesses including Kubera, Indra in the kalash.
