Fill the kalash with water and place the coin, areca, durva, rice, tulsi leaves in it and then place the mango leaves on the kalash. Wrap the cloth over the coconut and place it on the kalash. Take flower-rice in hand and recite the invocation mantra of God Varun and place it on the kalash-


ॐ अपवित्रः पवित्रो वा सर्वावस्थांगतोऽपि वा।
यःस्मरेत् पुण्डरीकाक्षं सबाह्याभ्यंतर: शुचिः।।


Then invoke and bow in remembrance of all the gods and goddesses including Kubera, Indra in the kalash.

Worship of Lord Ganesha, Vishnu, Indra and Kubera-

To worship Lord Ganesha before worshiping Lakshmiji. After bathing Ganesha by chanting Om Ganapati Namah Mantra, offer all the pujan material. Worship of Goddess Saraswati-
