Is there a solar eclipse?
When the moon comes between the earth and the sun, it is called a solar eclipse. During this time the light from the sun cannot reach the earth as it passes between the moon and the shadow of the moon falls on the earth. In fact the earth revolves around the sun and the moon revolves around the earth. This causes the three to sometimes come in a straight line with each other. This is the reason why solar and lunar eclipses occur.

What is the Ring of Fire?
The moon orbits the earth in an elliptical orbit. For this reason, the distance of the moon from the earth is always increasing and decreasing. When the moon is farthest from the earth, it is called apogee and when it is closest, it is called perigee.

The moon will be almost at apogee when the solar eclipse occurs on June 10th. I.e. farthest from the earth. For this reason the shape of the moon will appear a little smaller than normal. Due to its small size, the moon cannot completely cover the sun, and little light will continue to fall on the earth from the edges of the moon's surface. Seen from the ground it will look like a red sphere. This is called the Ring of Fire.

How long will the eclipse last?
According to the website Time and Date, the eclipse will last from 1.42 pm to 6.41 pm Indian time. The total duration of solar eclipse in India will be about 5 hours.

Will the delivery take longer?
No. If this solar eclipse had occurred in India, it would have taken place during the gestation period, but this eclipse will not occur in India, so neither the gestation period will be valid there nor will there be any hindrance in religious planning. In astrology, the gestation period is calculated 12 hours before the solar eclipse. No auspicious work is done in the meantime. It is also not good to cook and eat during this time. Even the doors of the temples are closed during the Sutak period.
