Kanta Prasad, the owner of 'Baba Ka Dhaba', which has become popular across the country due to a viral video, has tried to commit suicide. Kanta Prasad is believed to have attempted suicide under the influence of alcohol by taking sleeping pills at around 10.30 pm on Thursday night.

Police get information from hospital
Delhi Police said they got information about Kanta Prasad's suicide attempt from the hospital. He is currently out of critical condition and undergoing treatment.
80-year-old couple was running 'Baba Ka Dhaba' in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, after a viral video surfaced, but the couple faced financial hardship due to the first lockdown and subsequent situation. After that, the video of the couple, which was taken down with the pride of Swad Official, went viral across the country and crowds of people flocked to 'Baba Ka Dhaba', with Baba pouring in from all over the country.

I have cheated and the money I have received has been squandered. After that many people started looking at Baba with hatred and even threatening him.
Baba also opened a restaurant after gaining fame.

, Baba started a nice restaurant with the help he got, but it was there that Koro's strikes and the people who came to the restaurant stopped. According to Baba, he used to earn barely Rs 35,000 against a monthly expenditure of Rs 1 lakh, so it was his turn to close the restaurant indiscriminately.
