The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) issues Aadhaar Cards to Indian citizens. In this, a separate 12-digit unique identification number is given to each citizen. Indian citizens use it as proof of identity and address.

There is a fee of Rs 100 for biometric updates
For biometric updates in the base, you have to go to the nearest enrollment center. Apart from this, all updates are now done in the online medium only. If you do biometric updates, you will have to pay a fee of Rs. 100 (base update fee).
You will have to pay Rs 50 for demographic update. If you want e-Aadhaar download and color print, you have to pay Rs. Explain that if you are asked to pay more than this, call 1947 immediately and file a complaint. Apart from this you can also complain by emailing help@uidai.gov.in.

Take the original documents to the update center
To update the Aadhaar card, you need to take your original documents to the Enrollment Center. The original documents will be checked and returned to you after the update. If you change demographic information through the Self-Service Update Portal (SSUP), your mobile number needs to be registered with Aadhaar. If your address has changed or your post-wedding location has changed, the Aadhaar card should be updated. Note that if you want to change the photo, biometrics, gender, mobile number, e-mail in the Aadhaar card, no documents will be required.
