How do I know if my contribution will reach the trust if someone comes to my home?
The general secretary of the trust, Champat Rai, says teams of people associated with the Sangh Parivar have been formed at the local level. These people are known to the locals. The public will always be charged with two people. Even after that, if there is any fraud, people can go to the police and lodge a complaint.
Along with this people are being made aware through advertisements. Even after that if you have any question in your mind that you want to get any information about the contribution, Punjab National Bank has issued a separate toll free number for this campaign.
How much has been contributed so far?
Champat Rai said that in the first two days alone, more than Rs 100 crore has been donated. The trust had already received over Rs 100 crore before the campaign started. Along with this, a lot of money has also been received from abroad. These have not yet been exchanged in Indian currency. Will the money from this contribution make the whole temple or will more money be needed?
The estimated value of the temple was said to be Rs 1100 crore. The basic plan will now be changed. This will make a difference in the cost. The same can be said of future plans. Increasing costs can drive a contribution campaign.
Treasurer Govind Dev Giri says the current expenditure could be up to Rs 1,500 crore. However, Champat Rai says there is still no limit to how much it will cost. The area is also to be expanded after the temple is built. If the contribution is low, the fundraising program can be run again.
Apart from the President, what other great personalities have contributed?

By when will the temple be ready?
Champat Rai says the campaign is the largest fundraising campaign in the world. The construction work of the temple has already started with the campaign. Work is underway for the foundation. By April 2024 i.e. in 39 months the temple will be built. That is at a time when the Lok Sabha elections are going on in the country.
What about contributions made in the 90's?
The trust was handed over Rs 10 crore from the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust. It is said that the money was raised from donations.
However, the VHP says that at that time, Rs 3.5 crore came from the Rs 1.5 crore taken as a contribution by going to the villages. The stones were bought from it. Expenses were incurred on artisans and laborers. VHP carved stones will also be used in the construction of the temple.
However, no account of the contribution made at that time has been made to date. Everyone is making their own claims about this. VHP's Praveen Togadia has earlier spoken of irregularities in taking this contribution.
