According to the blog WABetaInfo, which tracks WhatsApp updates, WhatsApp is working on a feature that will help delete status updates posted incorrectly by its users. An Undo button will be provided in the app for this. This button will be written next to the Status Sent message. This means you can take action as soon as the status is updated.
