Developed a ventilator that could treat two people
A prototype project was developed by students from Vyara and Surat to treat two patients on the same ventilator to combat the epidemic. Keeping in view the current need, the students developed a ventilator that can treat two patients at a time. According to the students, the aim of our project is to produce a large scale ventilator at low cost and in a short time. At present only one person can be treated at a time on the currently used ventilator, but the main feature of this project is that 2 patients can be easily treated at a time.
The ventilator in the project is portable and compact. So that the ventilator can be easily moved. Due to this feature the patient can also take treatment at home. Students have applied for a grant in the Student Startup Innovation Policy to convert the prototype into a product and patent the project.
