There was a slight decrease in deaths compared to the first wave in Central Gujarat, which increased 3 times in North Gujarat

The first case of corona was reported in Gujarat on March 19, 2020. This is the second wave of corona that has been raging in Gujarat for more than a year now. The second wave is more brutal than the first. In 84 days of the second wave, Gujarat has seen the desperate face of Corona. In which about two and a half lakh cases have been registered and more than two thousand have been flooded with this killer corona.

If we look at the government figures which are released daily in just 84 days, 49 per cent of the total cases and 32 per cent of the deaths , in the first 84 days of the first wave from March 19 to January 31, 22067 cases were reported in the state and 1385 deaths were reported. That is an average of 263 cases and 16 deaths in the state in 84 days from March 19 to June 11. While the second wave has started from the month of February. In the 84 days of the second wave till April 26, 2 lakh 48 thousand 833 cases and 2099 deaths have been registered, i.e. an average of 2962 cases and 25 deaths have been reported every day during this period. This means that 49 per cent of the total cases and 32 per cent of the deaths were reported in just 84 days.
Corona cares in
Saurashtra The first wave in Saurashtra had 634 cases and 31 deaths. In the second wave, 45798 cases and 534 deaths were reported in Saurashtra. Apart from Rajkot, Corona has treated black care in Jamnagar, Bhavnagar. After Rajkot, Saurashtra has the highest number of cases and deaths in Jamnagar.

Mehsana cases in North Gujarat, death toll rises in Sabarkantha On the
84th day of the first wave, 184 cases and 59 deaths were reported across North Gujarat. While in the 84 days of the second wave, 21843 cases and 188 deaths have been registered in the government books. Mehsana topped the list with 6980 cases, while Sabarkantha recorded the highest number of 45 deaths in the last 84 days in North Gujarat.
In Central Gujarat,
17816 cases were registered in the first wave while 1117 deaths were registered in the government books.

In South Gujarat, the second wave
hit Bharuch hard. In Dang too, 2562 cases and 98 deaths were reported in the first wave in South Gujarat. In the second wave, 63767 cases and 586 deaths have been registered in the government books. Apart from Surat, Bharuch has the highest number of cases and deaths. Dang in the first wave had only 4 cases during this period while this time there are 330 cases and 10 deaths which is a matter of concern.
