Accident:Blast due to overloading of steam tank at a chemical manufacturing factory near Rajkot; 4 workers killed, 9 burnt
Some of the workers were burnt all over their bodies due to the chemical. Some were hit and injured.
The incident took place at 8.30 pm when laborers were working in Dev Industries on the seam of Kherwa village on Kuwadwa-Wankaner road.

Three workers were killed on the spot and one died at Rajkot Hospital when a blast ripped through a chemical factory at Kherwa village on the Rajkot-Wankaner road at 8.30 pm on Monday. While nine Daji have been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Rajkot. Fire brigade staff rushed to the spot on learning of the blaze and efforts are underway to contain the blaze. More than 22 workers were working in the factory, according to villagers living nearby.
