Honsa Consumer Pvt Ltd, which sells personal care products under the MamaArt brand, said it would hire 200 people this year. The company said sales of their products in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities have grown significantly and online business has grown exponentially. HCPL said its revenue has increased to over Rs 500 crore this year and is projected to double in the near future.

Set a target of Rs 1,000 crore

"We are 300 now and by the end of this year we will be 500," said Varun Alaghe, co-founder and CEO of the company. 100 of them will be part of the offline retail force and will handle the main growth force, DTC force, user service, marketing force and other work. He said the company has achieved a business of Rs 500 crore in four years and has now set a target of Rs 1,000 crore.

Twenty per cent of companies plan double-digit pay increases this year. In 2020, the figure was only 12 percent. According to the survey, 1/3 of the companies that did not raise their salaries last year are preparing to pay more this year or in the form of bonuses.
