The price of a gas cylinder was hiked by Rs 25 on February 4 and now it has been hiked by Rs 50 from February 14.

The government has given one more blow to those who are worried about diesel-petrol prices. The government has hiked the price of LPG gas cylinder by a whopping Rs 50. With this, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 769. The increased price has been applied since midnight on Sunday.

In the last 10 days, the price of a gas cylinder has been increased by Rs 75.
The price of the gas-cylinder has been increased for the second time in February. Earlier, on February 4, subsidized cylinders were priced at Rs 25. Now, 10 days later, on February 14, the price has been increased by another Rs 50. This means that the price of a domestic cylinder has gone up by Rs 75 so far in February.

December Oil marketing companies did not change the price of LPG gas in January. However, it had earlier gained Rs 50-50 twice in December. On Budget Day i.e. February 1, the prices of 14.2 kg unsubsidised gas cylinders were not increased, though the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder was increased by Rs 191.
Petrol-diesel prices continue to rise
Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise in the country. In some states of the country, the price is between Rs 90 to Rs 100 per liter. In Madhya Pradesh, the price of premium petrol has crossed Rs 100, while in Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 95.

In many cities of the country, the price of petrol is between Rs 90 and Rs 100 per liter.
