Peace making bread in the camp at Tikri Border, which is now assured of its safety and convenience. The camp they are in now has a permanent toilet, a geyser-equipped bathroom, CCTV cameras and a submersible pump. The farmers' agitation in Delhi against the three agricultural laws has taken more than two and a half months so far. Neither the government nor the agitating farmers are ready to back down. A tussle is going on between the two. In the midst of all this, the farmers' pucca construction work is now being witnessed on the border, in which all the facilities of the house are being seen.
Says Shanti, 'Before we had trouble going to the washroom, we didn't drink water all day to avoid having to go to the toilet. Now a pucca toilet has been built for us, now we have no tension. "We have also built a shed for women to live in," says Jagroop Singh, who runs the camp. Having a washroom facility will enable women to live without any hassle. The camp has also been fitted with submersible pumps for water and paved gutters for toilets. Electricity is being taken from nearby transformers.

Farmers have now arranged toilets in their camps. Geysers and CCTV cameras have also been installed in the washroom.
Camp manager Manjot Singh said the pump and toilet cost about Rs one lakh. Now, keeping in view the heat in the near future, we are also arranging to install a team shed and a cooler, which may cost an additional Rs three to four lakh. Manjot says, "We have also installed CCTV cameras, which are monitored from mobiles. We will have videos available if the police come sometimes. We can also save backups. '

According to Jagroop, a loan is also being made so that farmers can sit comfortably. In addition, filters are being installed to purify the water. "We are preparing to stay here longer," says Jagroop. We have no choice but to sit down. Even if we have to sit here for many years, we will not retreat. A twenty feet deep pit is also being dug nearby for the water used. Soon such pucca toilets will also be built.

Farmers are digging pits everywhere to build toilets. Arrangements are also being made for sewers.
But where is the money coming from for this? Farmer leaders have raised the question that we have not yet done such concrete constructions under any scheme. These leaders say that various organizations involved in the united front are constructing some concrete structures at their level. Some are helping in private. Apart from Tikri, similar pucca constructions are also being built on the Indus border, but at present the number is small and most of them are done through personal efforts.

He says, "If the anchor was soaked in the rain, then with the cooperation of the people, we built the crop." Now that winter has passed, we are preparing for summer. Summer and rain will all be spent here. "We have spent more than Rs one lakh on this construction," he says. We have donated these paki bricks. We are getting the full cooperation of the society. Regarding the long-running agitation, he said, "We will not return disappointed. The government is thinking that the harvest season is approaching. The farmers will return, but we will not return." We will stay here, no matter how long we have to stay.

Trolleys on the Tikri border look more tidy than before. Here farmers are building a park on vacant land along the Rohtak bypass. The soil has been cleared and the soil has been poured. Flowering plants, mulch and chairs have been planted. "Now that we have to stay here, we will be fine," says the farmer, sitting in a comfortable chair and discussing. We will plant vegetables and flowers on the empty land.
The sarpanch of Gholia Khurd village from Moga has cleared the land on the Tikri border and built a Kisan Haveli, which is becoming very popular. Here flowering plants are planted in pots by making roadside stairs. Green lawns have been created and adventure tents have also been set up. If hundreds or hundreds of people come, they have a complete system of stopping. All the facilities available in the house will be available in Kisan Haveli.
Asked how long the agitation would last, he said, "As long as the government wants. We have no choice but to sit here. For truth to prevail we must sit in peace and patience. We'll just sit here. We do not need to be discouraged under any circumstances. People will be happy if the stay here is good. '
