Extremely shocking information has come out during the investigation in the fire chapter in Bhandara District Hospital. Ten newborns died of suffocation in the fire, but local police have not yet filed a case against anyone. Police are awaiting a report from the forensic lab, which will then determine the liability and file an offense. Meanwhile the forensic lab has found a CCTV footage in the DVR received from the police, in which the whole incident is clearly captured.

The incident happened at 1.40am on January 9, according to CCTV footage. This CCTV footage is of the room where 10 newborns were burned. According to CCTV footage, the newborn screamed for about 21 minutes because of the smoke, but no one came to the rescue. Also no employee of the hospital was present in that room. Audio was also recorded in the CCTV footage, which showed the newborn screaming, crying, screaming because of the smoke for about 21 minutes.

The state-run forensic science laboratory at Santacruz Kali in Mumbai has hinted at the hospital's gross negligence in its report. After this, Bhandara police has sent some more DVRs and asked for answers to some questions. After the incident, Bhandara police sent three digital video recorders, i.e. DVRs, to Kalina's lab at the hospital. Polly wanted footage from CCTV cameras inside and outside the hospital's SNCU, which killed 10 newborns.

The forensic department has succeeded in obtaining data from the CCTV footage. This video is from inside the SNCU, which makes it clear that no one was seen inside the room for 21 minutes when there was a fire in the room.

Where the nurse went missing
According to the report of the CCTV footage obtained by the forensic lab, it is clear that the nurse was missing from her nursing station at the time of the fire. Other hospital staff also received information about the fire about 21 minutes later. The absence of a nurse in the workplace proves the negligence of the hospital. The forensic lab in this chapter is expected to submit its second report this weekend.

The government has taken this action after the
government released the preliminary investigation report on January 21. Pramod Khandate, medical officer Archana Meshram, nurse in-charge Jyoti Bharaskar have been suspended, while Additional Civil Surgeon Dr. Sunita Bade has been replaced, while pediatrician Sushil Ambade, staff nurse Smita Ambulduk, Shubhangi Satwane have been retired. However, the families of the dead newborns have demanded action against the culprits by filing a case of culpable homicide.

Why the staff was missing when the accident happened?
27 out of 41 doctors of the district general hospital do not take NPA allowance and run a private hospital in Bhandara city with government service. This is because most of the staff are not present in the hospital during office hours. That is why it should be taken care of, demanded former BJP MLA Charan Waghmare.
