Six people were killed in a horrific accident late Saturday night in Zalor, Rajasthan. The accident happened when a bus overtook an 11 kV (11 thousand volt) high tension line. After which the bus caught fire. 36 others have been burnt in the incident. Who is undergoing treatment. These are all devotees of the Jain community, who were returning to Beawar after boarding a bus and visiting the Nakoda Jain Temple.
Among the dead were driver-conductor and 3 women.
Sonal, Surabhi, Chand Devi of Beawar, Rajendra of Ajmer and driver Dharmachand Jain as well as conductor were killed in the incident. Also injured are Priyanka from Jaipur, Nisha Jain from Ajmer, Shankutla from Beawar, Anausi, Shilpa Bafna from Bhilwara, Sunita from Beawar, Seema Jain from Jaipur, Ritika and Shilpa.

After receiving information about the incident, the fire brigade team reached the spot and put out the fire. The injured are being treated at Zalor District Hospital. Some of the passengers have been referred as their condition is serious.

They boarded two buses and left Beawar on Friday night. All had arrived to visit the Jain temple at Mandoli in Zalor. After the darshan, they forgot their way back to Beawar and reached Maheshpura village. While passing through the narrow streets of Maheshpura, the bus came in a rush of 11 KV line and the whole bus caught fire as the current spread.

boarded the bus to see the height of the wire. Passengers aboard the bus said they went to Mandoli after Nakoda for darshan. All reached Zalor town late on Saturday evening. After having a meal here they had to go to Beaver. The bus was moving, seeing Beaver's route from Google Maps. The bus reached Maheshpura village by mistake. The bus reached the narrow alley of the village and there was a very low 11 kV line. The conductor of the bus went upstairs to see the wire. The conductor started removing the 11 kV line and the current spread throughout the bus, causing a fire.
