Officials said 22 families were evacuated from the avalanche-hit areas of Kulgam on Wednesday. Kept in a school in South Kashmir. A CRPF jawan died when a shed collapsed due to snowfall in Hazratbal area of ​​Srinagar. A woman died in an avalanche in north Kashmir. "We are ready to start the flight from Thursday," the Srinagar Airport Authority said on Wednesday evening.



Power Crisis:
Due to continuous snowfall in North-South districts and breakdown of power lines, power crisis has arisen in North and South districts of Kashmir. The power department has also not been able to improve rapidly due to the manpower crisis. Ejaz Ahmed Dare, chief engineer of the power department, said South Kashmir was affected by the snowfall. The transformer and power lines have been damaged.

About 6,000 trucks full of luggage, containers full of petrol-diesel and passenger vehicles are stuck on the highway. The truck is stuck between Lagrota Bypass Jammu to Udhampur, Ramban, Chanderkot. Most roads are closed due to avalanches and snow.




Rationing: Petrol-LPG limit has been fixed
Petrol-diesel sales have been capped as petrol-diesel vehicles are stuck on the highway. The two-wheeler will get a maximum of 3 to 5 liters of petrol. Private four-wheelers will get a maximum of 10 liters and commercial four-wheelers will get 20 liters. The deadline for refill of LPG cylinders is 21 days.
