The woman was shocked to see the condition of the rupee as soon as she opened the bank-locker and introduced herself to the bank-manager.
Your money is no longer safe even in a bank locker. The whole incident came to light when the woman accountant went to collect the money placed in the locker. There was an uproar over the rupee being looted in the locker and bank employees have expressed suspicion that the rupee was also looted in other lockers.

Bank of Baroda branch is located in the Apsara Skyline Commercial Complex in Pratapnagar area of Vadodara city, in which lockers are provided to the account holders. Rehanaben Qutbuddin Desarwala, a woman account holder of the bank, had deposited Rs 2.20 lakh in her locker number-252, which contained Rs 5,10,100 and Rs 500 currency notes. Rehanaben needed money so he went to the bank to get the money from the locker. However, as soon as he opened the bank locker, his senses were blown away. His Rs 2.20 lakh in the locker was wasted and the money was of no use.

The account holder woman demanded compensation before the bank manager. The account
