Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its three most popular models - the Alto, the Cellario and the Vitara Brezza - with a generation change. According to recent media reports, the new generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be the first car to hit the roads. The company is set to launch an all-new model of its hatchback car in February. However, Maruti has not announced the official launch date of the car. The 2021 Maruti Celerio is coming with a more powerful engine and will also see a change in its interior and exterior look.
What will be new in the new car?
The biggest change is being made to its platform. The old platform in the 2021 Maruti Suzuki Cellario has been discontinued and the company is now using its new HeartTech platform architecture. The company is already using this new platform in many of its new model cars. The new 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio is code-named 'YNC'. The car's interior hatchback will feature a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system, which supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. While only the instrument cluster of the current model of the car will be used. The car's dashboard, steering wheel and center console are also being updated.
New Features The
new 2021 Maruti Celerio may also come with automatic climate control, steering wheel mounted control and many more features. This hatchback car will be given dual front airbag protection and seatbelt reminder standard. Apart from this, the anti-brake braking system will also come with features like electronic brake-force distribution, rear parking sensor and reverse camera.
New look and design
Along with this, the exterior of the car will also undergo major changes. The 2021 Maruti Suzuki Cellario will have a newly designed small front grille and air dam, halogen headlamps, new door handles, updated rear bumpers and taillamps. The next generation model will be bigger, taller and more spacious compared to the Cellario.
Engine Details The
new 2021 Maruti Celerio will come with a more powerful engine. This car will have two engine options. The first will get a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine. This engine generates power of 83bhp. Apart from this, this hatchback car will also be available with a second engine option. It will have a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine generates power of 68bhp. This model can get 5-speed manual gearbox option. However, the car is also likely to be given the AMT gearbox option. The current model of Maruti Suzuki Cellario is priced from Rs 4.41 lakh to Rs 5.68 lakh. With the new changes, its cost can definitely increase.
